Paycheck Protection Program Loans (posted 4/6/2020)
posted on April 06
El Camino Real District Pastors,
Grace and peace to you! Many of you have inquired about applying for Paycheck Protection Program Loans. As it states in the Book of Discipline para. 2529.3, you will need to have a charge conference vote in order to apply. However, because this is an unusual time and the program is time-sensitive, Bishop Carcaño is waving the 10 day-requirement and authorizing Elders to preside at the charge conference of their own church.
Please remember that this charge conference would need to be held virtually. If you are planning to apply, please send me a request to hold a charge conference, and I will approve it as soon as possible.
Click here for more information about the loan. Also, our Conference Treasurer, Diane Knudsen’s webinar this Wednesday at 4 p.m. will cover the topic of the loan. (Information below)
