Our goal using the Connecting Neighbors resource is to inspire individual congregations and communities to be better able to minimize disaster-caused harm to people and property and to respond to our neighbors in helpful, cooperative and caring ways on behalf of the church and in the spirit of Jesus Christ.
Rich information has also been included from other organizations and community partners - most notably the American Red Cross, National Disaster Interfaith Network, and FEMA.  Note: if we are unable to meet in person due to sheltering in place, then we will host virtual trainings

Module 3 - Saturday, July 11, 2020
Location:  Pinole UMC
2000 San Pablo Ave. Pinole, CA 94564
Time: 9:00am - 12:30pm
Ready Response Module 3 helps churches explore their capacity for various disaster response ministries and to consider ways to engage community partners. Ideally, by completing all 3 modules, churches will have the tools needed to complete their Emergency Management Plan/Disaster Response Plan.
